Driving Directions to the Omni Hotel
Take I-76 East (PA Turnpike) to exit 24 Valley Forge. After the tolls, continue straight onto I-76 East, also known as the Schuylkill Expressway for approximately 15 miles. Take I-676 East, the Vine Street Expressway/Center City Philadelphia Exit. Follow signs to the Ben Franklin Bridge/I-676/Route 30 Exit (NOT the 8th Street Exit). At the traffic light at the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto 6th Street. Follow 6th Street to the 4th traffic light and turn left onto Chestnut Street. Follow Chestnut Street two blocks, the Omni is located on the left-hand side.
From Philadelphia International Airport, Delaware, Baltimore, Washington, D.C. (I-95 North):
Take I-95 North to Exit 22, bear to the right and go straight onto Callowhill Street. Stay on Callowhill Street until 6th Street and turn left. Make a left at the 4th traffic light onto Chestnut Street (in front of Independence Hall). Proceed 2 blocks; the Omni is located on the left at the corner of 4th and Chestnut Streets.
From I-95 (Bucks County):
Take I-95 South to Exit 22, Historic Area/Independence Hall. At the bottom of the ramp, go straight; you will be on 2nd Street. Go up to Market Street and make a right. Stay on Market Street until 6th Street and make a left at the traffic light. Follow 6th Street one block to Chestnut Street and make a left. Follow Chestnut Street for 2 blocks the Omni is located on the left at the corner of 4th & Chestnut Streets.
NJ Turnpike from New York:
Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 4 (marked Philadelphia, Camden). Once off of the exit and through the toll, bear to the right onto Route 73 North. Continue on Route 73 North and follow signs for the Betsy Ross Bridge. Go over the bridge and take I-95 South into Center City. Take Exit 22, Historic Area/Independence Hall. At the bottom of the ramp, go straight; you will be on 2nd Street. Go up to Market Street and make a right. Stay on Market Street until 6th Street and make a left at the traffic light. Follow 6th Street one block to Chestnut Street and make a left. Follow Chestnut Street for 2 blocks the Omni is located on the left at the corner of 4th & Chestnut Streets.
From Philadelphia International Airport:
Philadelphia Airport Shuttle - This mode of transportation may be acquired at the baggage desk area of the airport. The cost per person is $8.00. Taxi cabs charge a flat rate of $25.00.

From New Jersey Turnpike
Turn off at Exit 4. After toll booths, proceed on Route 73 North approximately one mile to Route 38 West. Rte 38 will merge with Rte 30. Go one mile and take the right fork marked “Local Traffic Only, Last Exit Before Toll.” Continue straight ahead to Seventh Street and turn left. At the foot of the Seventh Street Bridge, turn right onto Cooper Street. Continue six blocks to Third Street and turn right. The parking lot is on your left across from the Fine Arts Building.
From Route 295 southbound
Turn off at Route 38 West exit at Moorestown. Rte 38 will merge with Rte 30. See above for further directions.
From Route 295 northbound
Turn off at exit for North-South Freeway (Rte 42). Follow signs to Camden; exit at Rte 676. Proceed to Exit 5B marked “Last Exit Before Toll – Benjamin Franklin Bridge.” Turn left onto Linden Street. Go one block to Seventh Street and turn left. See above for further directions.
Rutgers is just across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. Take Route 676 (Benjamin Franklin Bridge) between the two. There is a $3 toll going west into Philadelphia.
