Douglas Young

Douglas Young has attended many early music workshops,studying with most of the top recorder and early wind teachers from the US and Europe. He plays all sizes of recorders, cornetto, shawms, and curtals.  He performs with Rossignol, and sang in the Renaissance a cappela ensemble, Fortuna, for 15 years.  Doug has a passion for the music and notation of the late 14th through 16th centuries

Emily O'Brien

Emily O'BrienEmily O'Brien is a native of Washington, DC where she played recorder from a young age. She studied recorder and french horn at Boston University, and recorder and Baroque flute at the Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Alex Opsahl

Alex Opsahl  Alex Opsahl studied recorder with Peter Holtslag and Daniel Bruggen at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating in 2004 with First Class Honors. She went on to study cornetto privately in Italy with Bruce Dickey, continuing these studies at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. She was the winner of the 2003 Moeck Solo Recorder competition, the 2001 and 2003 RAM Early Music Prize and 2003 Hilda Anderson Dean Award.

Wouter Verschuren

Wouter Verschuren was born in Amersfoort, Holland. He studied recorder with Michael Barker and Jeanette van Wingenden at the Koninkijk Conservatorium in Den Haag concurrently studying the baroque bassoon with Donna Agrell. He received his solo diploma in 1999.

Stanley Ritchie

Stanley Ritchie has directed and appeared as soloist with many period instrument ensembles, including the Academy of Ancient Music, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, Tafelmusik, and the Handel and Haydn Society Orchestra. He is in demand for master classes and workshops throughout the world.

Jason Priset

Jason Priset began studying the guitar at the age of 13 mostly playing rock and blues styles.  He was also involved with the Symphonic Band and Concert Choir at Lancaster High School winning the highest award at state level competitions.  Eventually Mr.

Marilyn Boenau

Marilyn Boenau, Baroque bassoon, has performed and recorded with most of the leading Baroque orchestras in North America, including Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, the Handel & Haydn Society, Portland Baroque Orchestra, Apollo's Fire, Tafelmusik, and Opera Lafayette.
