Getting to the Amherst Early Music Festival

The 2022 Festival will be at Northampton Community College, Main Campus,
3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020.

BY CAR

If you plan to drive, there is plenty of free parking on campus. We encourage those offering or looking for a ride to post on AEM's Friends of Amherst Early Music Facebook page.

BY BUS

Trans-Bridge Lines runs bus service from Port Authority Bus Terminal in NYC and from Newark Airport. Get off at William Penn Park & Ride @ Junction Route 33 and William Penn Highway (Emrick Blvd.) 

Amtrak runs a bus from Philadelphia to Allentown, which is about 11 miles from campus.

BY PLANE

The Lehigh Valley Airport (ABE) is about 8 miles from campus.

FROM BUS STATIONS OR AIRPORT

There are local buses, but the easiest way to finish your journey is to take an Uber, Lyft, or taxi to campus. Click here for other options.

The Amherst Early Music Festival is two weeks of classes, with lectures, concerts, madrigal singing, English country dancing, drop-in playing sessions, the AEM Auction, and socializing with early music enthusiasts from all over the US and beyond.
