A workshop designed exclusively for recorder players!
Classes will cover a wide range of topics: Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Contemporary, and Traditional.
Class levels range from intermediate to very advanced. Applicants should play at least two sizes of instrument (S&T or A&B), and we hope that most will play both C and F fingerings, and have at least a fair level of sightreading. Baroque style recorders preferred, except as noted in Class Descriptions.
Class Schedule: Morning classes will meet both days, each afternoon class only once.
Saturday, October 18: 4 classes, 9:30-4:45
Sunday, October 19: 3 classes, 9:30-3:00

Saturday 5:30 Dinner at Persepolis Restaurant. Join us for fine Persian fare.
Saturday 8:00 Concert with East of the River Ensemble: Levantera. With Nina Stern and Daphna Mor.
Registration opens August 15, Class Descriptions and online sign-up forms will be posted on the AEM website September 10. Preference will be given to those enrolling full time. Enrollment for morning-only classes or afternoon classes will be offered on a space-available basis starting October 10th. Enrollment is limited to 70, apply early!
