Join us for Handel Fest 2026! We'll kick off with a session on vocal technique with Anna Lenti, exploring techniques for supporting coloratura, extended range, crisp diction, and other elements of Handel's choral music. Musicologist Dr. Jennifer Walker will give a presentation on Handel's music for choir and oratorios. How does Alexander's Feast fit into the broader context of Handel's choral works? What can we learn from Handel the historical figure as we approach his music? We will end our afternoon by singing some of this extraordinary music, led by Kent Tritle and Anna Lenti. Repertoire will include excerpts from Alexander's Feast, Handel's Coronation Anthems, as well as other pieces.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Advance registration is required. Suggested donation: $10
